Malawi Support - Catalyse

Dear Eagles supporters and friends,
 
The urgency of the climate crisis is growing exponentially in Malawi, as you can see in this powerful video from Channel 4 (under 10 minutes long). The Malawian President has declared a State of Emergency in 23 out of 28 districts this year because of the impact of El Nino. So we wanted to let you know that Eagles has begun ‘Catalyse’ in the southern region this week - in one of the areas most affected by Cyclone Freddy last year. Catalyse is an opportunity for more relational way of giving and walking alongside the church and community as they move out of poverty and grow in resilience to climate change (see more information here). Many of you already support Catalyse in the central region but if you, or anyone you know (whether or not church linked), can give to southern region Catalyse please email. Partners will receive regular updates and learn about the process of Church and Community Mobilisation, as well as the impact.
