More Good News on the ROCK Project: On Tuesday 10 January, we heard officially that the Chancellor of the Diocese has given approval for the whole of the ROCK Scheme to go ahead.  This is such good news and is another major hurdle crossed on our steeplechase marathon. The public consultation period only closed on Friday 6 January but the Chancellor had reviewed all the substantial documentation before then and because no public objections were received, he was able to move swiftly to grant the faculty. There are seven conditions – all of which are manageable and much less onerous than the BathNes ones.  Thank you all those who have ‘cheered us on our way’ as the hymn has it and who have prayed and given. At the next PCC meeting early in February, Richard Lewis, our new  Project Manager will bring a full report to the PCC setting out what needs to be done and what decisions need to be made by the PCC in order for work to start, hopefully in June 2023. The last big hurdle is money – so keep praying and continuing to be faithful and full of faith.
