Street Pastors 10 Years On
Has it really been 10 years?
Bath Street Pastors is 10 years old – our first patrol went out on 26 September 2008.
Initially, patrols were limited to Friday nights but in January 2009, Saturday shifts were introduced. Since then, with very few exceptions, teams of Street Pastors have patrolled the streets of Bath every Friday and Saturday night.
Please join us in giving thanks to God:

For every individual who has served as a Street Pastor – many of that first intake are still active, and plenty more have joined us over the years, as others have moved on;

For every opportunity to help those in need, and for every conversation and opening to pray and share faith;

For His provision of all that we need – people and resources;

For good relationships with the police and other agencies;

For a growing sense of peace and calm on the city streets.
And please continue to pray with us and for us:

For new recruits, so that we can continue to be on the streets every weekend;

For our financial and practical needs to be met;

For the leading of the Spirit, so that we can encounter those who most need our help;

For the safety and well-being of all those who are part of the ‘night-time economy’;

For those who are most vulnerable, especially the homeless, those who are mentally unwell, and those who battle addictions;

For peace on the streets.
